We offer a
balanced tree and shrub program, where our goal is to provide a quality program of timely applications for control
of certain insects and diseases. This program includes fertilization with major
elements and micronutrients, four insect and disease prevention treatments and
winter protection that helps with the survival and continued health of your
trees and shrubs. Some insects and diseases can be common problems such as:
Japanese Beetles, Tent Caterpillars, Anthracnose (Viral Leaf Spot), and Shot
Hole Fungus. Other insects and diseases can best be controlled preventively throughout the
year by targeting the times when they are most active and by treating the shrubs they are
most likely to affect. Protect the beauty of your investment and let us
help with your trees and shrubs!
We treat
each tree, shrub or plant individually and also take into consideration the
surrounding landscape for a difference you can see.
Integrated Pest Management
We offer prevention and
elimination of insects in lawns, trees and shrubs. Most lawn insect
treatments are treated on an as needed basis. Tree and shrub insect
infestation can be prevented by a program set up by our professionally
trained staff. The Integrated Pest Management program will protect and
beautify your trees and shrubs by reducing insect and disease problems and
by keeping the landscape healthy. If a problem is identified, it will
be treated if needed.. More information is discussed in further detail
in the Tree and Shrub yearly schedule segment.
Keep in mind that a 100%
pest-free landscape is not ecologically sound or possible. Some types
of insects are productive breeders and may be present between visits.
Others may be carried for miles by wind and weather. Insects feeding on
plants are a natural occurrence and pose no danger to healthy plants (when
controlled in numbers). But if you have a specific question, please
contact us! Service calls and consultations are provided at no
additional charge.
This type of program targets
specific insects and diseases during certain times of the year and on
specific trees and shrubs. With each visit, our customers receive a list of
target insects and diseases and plants to be treated for that particular
application. But remember, not everything is treated every time we do an
application. |
