During the year, we offer a seven application service for lawn, and a six
application tree and shrub program. It is never too early nor too late to
surround your home with a beautiful landscape.
Warm Season (Bermuda
and Zoysia) Program |
Round 1
|
Our first
application of the season includes both post-emergent weed controls and pre-emergent weed
controls to aid in the prevention of broadleaf weeds and annual crabgrass. We also apply high potassium fertilizer for
root development. Grassy weed controls are applied as
needed. |
Round 2
|
Our
application of a second treatment of pre and
post emergent weed controls and high
nitrogen fertilizer will help insure a quicker green-up. This
application will continue to fight against crabgrass and other broadleaf
weeds. |
Round 3
|
This
application is a special blend of liquid fertilizer to improve spring green
up and density. Weed control is applied to any undesirable broadleaf and
grassy weeds.
Your lawn is susceptible to fungus during the months of May through August
due to rain, heat and humidity. If you notice any unusual browning in your
lawn please call our office so we can check it for you to determine if it
needs a Special Treatment. Now is the time to core aerate your lawn so give us a call to
schedule. |
Round 4
|
Controlled release fertilizer is applied
to improve your
lawn's color and density.
Grassy weed controls and broadleaf weed controls are applied as needed. Proper
mowing and watering are the keys to maintaining a green healthy
lawn during this time of season. |
Round 5
|
During the end of
summer we apply
controlled release fertilizer is to improve
your
lawn's color and density. Grassy weed controls and broadleaf weed controls
are applied as needed. August/September is the time of year to start raising
your
mowing height if you have been mowing your warm season turf lower. |
Round 6
|
This application consists of
both pre-emergent and post-emergent weed controls to prevent fall and winter
weeds. We also apply a high potassium fertilizer designed to strengthen root
systems. This treatment is also designed to help minimize the possibility of winter injury. |
Round 7
|
Our last application of the
year is pre-emergent weed control to prevent winter weeds. This treatment will
also contain winter fertilization to improve root zone development for the
cold winter months. |

Pre-emergent weed controls applied to
prevent crabgrass and other broadleaf weeds.
Fertilization to improve root development for winter and spring green up. Broadleaf weed
control applied to any existing weeds. |
Round 2
|
Pre-emergent and post-emergent weed controls applied to prevent
crabgrass and other broadleaf weeds. Fertilization to improve green color
during cooler months. Broadleaf weed control applied to any existing weeds. |
Round 3
|
Special blended liquid
controlled release fertilizer, iron and micronutrients applied to improve
grass color and density. This will also help to keep your fescue lawn healthy
into early summer, without building up excess nitrogen which can lead to Brown Patch Fungus. We also apply weed controls as
necessary.
June/July is the most difficult time of year to maintain fescue grass due to summer
related stress. This is the time of year that additional fungicide
applications might be necessary to combat Brown Patch Fungus. |
Round 4
|
This application includes
specially blended liquid fertilizer, iron and micronutrients applied to
maintain grass color and density. Limestone helps to condition the soil and balance the soil pH level so that your turf will use our fertilizers more
efficiently. We also apply weeds controls as needed. This treatment will help to prepare
your fescue grass for the upcoming core aeration and over seeding season. |
Round 5
|
September/October is the best time for Fescue
Core Aeration & Seeding. Our application of balanced fertilizer,
iron and micronutrients will aid in the
germination of your recently seeded lawn, and it will help your established fescue grass
to repair itself from damage caused by summer stress. |
Rounds 6 & 7
|
The last 2 applications of the year
consist of fertilizer which is high in phosphorous which will provide the nutrients needed by the
developing new grass to mature over the winter months. Weed controls are used as needed on turf
that is mature and healthy. |

To help all warm season
lawns maintain their color and growth, we apply another liquid controlled release fertilizer
and micronutrients.
Broadleaf weed controls are applied as needed. Proper
mowing and watering are the keys to maintaining a green healthy
lawn during this time of season. Centipede lawns are susceptible to
Spittle Bug infestation during the months of May through August. If you
notice any unusual browning in your lawn please call our office so we can
determine if your lawn requires a special treatment. |
Round 6

This application consists of
pre-emergent weed controls to prevent fall and winter weeds. We also apply
iron products to retain turf color. |
Round 7
|
Our last application of the
year is post-emergent weed controls for any winter weeds. Winter
fertilization is also applied to improve root zone development.
